Allium ''Atropurpureum''

As most of the other Alliums, this bulb likes to be planted in not too heavy soil. It is an excellent cutflower. Plant them where they can wander at will, since they naturalize well in grass. This variety is able to reach 40-80cm in height and it has strong stems. It produces small deep red-purple flowers for the summer.

Will perform best when planted in full sun. Requires adequate moisture, but never too soggy. Has hardly leaves.
